Details Matter

Details, Details, Details!

At Blackstone Roofing, we focus on all of the details from the very large and glaringly obvious details right down to the smallest, seemingly minute details. Any forgotten or poorly executed detail can cause major problems in your roofing system. It is these details that have become are our number one differentiating factor and we focus on them throughout our process.

The first step in our process is initial contact with the customer. During this interaction, we want to understand what the customer is looking for from a roofing company and strive to meet those demands. First, we listen and ask questions. Then we aim to describe all of our procedures as well as answer any and all questions the customer may have.

The next step in the process is the inspection. No matter the desired outcome, whether it be a repair estimate, an estimate for a full roof replacement, an insurance claim, or a routine checkup, an inspection is a critical step in the process. We offer two inspection services, one of which is completely free of charge!

Free Simple Inspection

Our Simple Inspection is 100% free and is recommended to all homeowners every 2 years, after a major storm, for customers looking for a free roof replacement estimate, or to determine if there is sufficient Storm Damage to file an insurance claim. It includes a chalk markup of any damage or problem areas, pictures that can be emailed, an estimate of the remaining service life of your roof, and our opinion on whether an insurance claim is warranted based on present Storm Damage. Visit the ‘Simple Inspection’ page (under ‘Services’) for more information.

Detailed Roof Analysis and Tuneup

Have you ever heard the phrase, “You get what you pay for?” Well our Detailed Roof Analysis and Tuneup serves as a testament to the validity of this theory. This $149 Multi-Point Inspection service houses a lot more than meets the eye. Homeowners receive a 10+ page report that documents everything about the current state of your roof as well as a full service roof tuneup and a $100 repair voucher. We recommend this inspection every 6-8 years.

The next step in the process can be a number of things depending on what you decide is best for you and your home. See the following links for more information on their respective subjects: Insurance Claims, Roof Repair, and Roof Replacement. Some people may have a type of additive granule shingle that are defective and discontinued. They generally go by the trade name of the most popular one, “Atlas Chalet,” but if you have any of the other brands of shingles of this type, they are all defective and you should read the following for more information: Defective Shingles

Products and Materials

At Blackstone Roofing we do a number of things that is just unheard of in the market. We start off by upgrading our customers to the highest quality Owens Corning materials so that the entire roofing system is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Where many roofers take shortcuts such as cutting 3 tab shingles for hip and ridge cap, we take pride in using the correct products for the given application in order to preserve that manufacturer warranty and do the job right. More information on the unique steps we take can be found on the ‘Products and Materials’ page under ‘Services’ or at the link above.

Installation

The install is the most crucial step in delivering a watertight roofing system. It is both the culmination of every preceding step and the last nail in the process. The first step of the installation process actually starts with the initial inspection where we determine the most leak-prone areas of your roof in order to reinforce these areas with ice and water shield. One specific detail that is almost entirely overlook in our market is the lack of counter flashing. Our crews alway counter flash any step (base) flashing. Another minor detail we take seriously is paint matching any exposed pipes. The white pipes standout like a sore thumb and we take the time to spray paint these to match and blend into the roof. The installation process has many situational variables that the experienced crews at Blackstone Roofing know how to handle. We are confident that we can do a top quality install on your home too. For more information on our installation methods please click the link above or go to the ‘Installation’ page found under ‘Services.’

Our job isn’t fully complete until the customer is happy. Our number one priority is to make you happy and we will spare no time, effort, or expense in order to make that priority a reality. The experts at Blackstone Roofing are determined to deliver the best quality materials and install them with impeccable care and craftsmanship. Let us strive for greatness with your roofing experience today!
